Solution 3: if you really really want to just minimize - use the shortkey 'super + H' (works on all programs) ![]() My 2 bottom corners are set to show the multitasking view, allowing me to instantly select the program i want to move to without searching. My top right corner is set to maximize the window, which moves it. You can also use shortkeys to navigate to another workspace. Your window will no longer overlap and you can always move back to the other window, using the dock. If you combine that function with the setup hereabove, you can simply place your windows however you want, until your create an overlap ( 2 windows on top of one another) Now instead of minimizing one of the 2 windows, simply move your mouse to the corner of your screen to maximize the active window, which moves it to a new workspace. You see when you click on the dock on the icon of a program that is active on another workspace you will move to that program on that workspace. Now, you're probably thinking "I did not want to know how to maximize but how to MINIMIZE!" Don't despair the anser is in fact already dealt with.
